Daniel Rodriguez and Friends

Daniel Rodriguez was the voice of the transcendental folk band Elephant Revival, which took Celtic Connections by storm in 2014. Shortly thereafter he took the solo route which has seen his creative output blossom in quantity and quality, to become simply outstanding.
Late in 2020, Daniel released his debut album, Sojourn of a Burning Sun to critical acclaim.
In recent months he has been on the road in America with a very tight and tidy pared-back qaurtet, and they’ve been making great music wherever they go. The trio is in the UK this autumn for a run of dates including West Kilbride Village Hall.

The D'Eldorados and Ocean Views

Just as the beat groups of the Sixties were inspired by the best rock 'n' roll and r&b to come from that rich source which went on to fill the pop charts for a decade, in the '90s, The Kaisers re-visited and re-interpreted the same territory to build a huge following and tour the world.
The backbone might have been Chuck Berry, but they wrote and recorded great songs too (five albums) that had that authentic roots of rock 'n' roll feel.
When Kaisers' front man, George Miller pulled together a pet side project that filled his hunger for rockabilly and a set made up of the precious gems he was so passionate about, that tight little combo, D'Eldorados, would go on to become one of the hottest bands in that genre that the UK had ever produced.
His hand-picked musical sidekicks in D’Eldorados are: Mick McKeown (lead guitar), Shuggy Jamieson (bass) and Lex Hall (drums). You won’t find them online – it’s all part of the mystique!
The band will also be supported by the Irvine based 'Psychadelic Trance Magic Melodic Beaty Bouncy Rock and Roll' band, Ocean Views. This three piece act is made up by Cammy Findlay, David Bothwell and Jack Dillon.
